How to get mysqueezebox.com password reset

I'm just getting my Squeezeboxes setup again after they have been
sitting idle for about 8 months.

I have a Squeezebox Radio and its registered to my old e-mail address.
I can't remember the password for this so have requested a reset.

The mysqueezebox.com site tells me its sent an e-mail but it's never
received. I've e-mailed Logitech customer support but I don't get an
answer.

How does one go about getting either a reset password or making the
player believe its not registered to the old e-mail.

Thanks and Regards
Fred

Check your email spam folder for the MySB email containing your reset
password.
If it is only the Radio that you have as a player then just do a
Factory Reset. If you have older players like Boom and SB3 as well
then this won't work.

SB Radio Factory Reset =
- power off Radio (press & hold POWER button, see "goodbye" on screen)
- press & hold “+” button
- power ON Radio
- continue holding “+” until you see "Factory Settings Restored"
- wait till Radio completely reboots on it’s own

After selecting language and network setup it will say "this player is
registered to xxx-***@public.gmane.org, is this correct?" then just scroll down to
setup a new account.

However:
- may need to use a different email account than what was previously
registered
- you will need to setup a whole new MySB.com account with new login

Thanks Toby, I have a completely seperate mysb login but doing the
factory reset it never came up with this

"this player is registered to xxx-***@public.gmane.org, is this correct?"

Is there any other way of doing this?

If Factory Reset was done properly it should have offered that screen.
Are you certain you did an actual Factory Reset? Did it ask for
language and network setup?

There are two ways to change MySB accounts on a SB Radio:
1. Factory Reset
2.. Contact support

Well, if it skipped over the MySB account info/entry, then something is
majorly wrong with your Radio.
Contact support. ;)

I forgot my mysqueezebox password and have used the website countless
times to request a new one. Nothing happens for hours. I've checked
my junk mail and its not there. Can someone at logitech please give us
a quicker way to get our password reset? It's really frustrating.

Thanks

I did get the factory reset to work last night, not as Toby described
but through the menu option. This time it worked as Toby described it.

I agree though, Logitech should sort this out.

Thanks for the help Toby.

Just as closure on this, Logitech did respond to my support requests and
did reset the password for me.
